It was a busy weekend for both aircraft and crews of the North West Air Ambulance. Both our Manchester and Blackpool aircrew attended a variety of incidents around the region. Whether it was a rugby injury in Marple or a car accident in Great Langdale, our specially trained crew were on hand to ensure the people of the North West received the fastest emergency treatment available.
Paul West, Clinical Manager, said: “The weekend can be a busy time for the emergency services as people follow leisure pursuits and travel to and from leisure destinations.
“We hope that people will not need our services but they know that we will provide care from the air if they get into difficulty.”
The North West Air Ambulance is a charity relying on public donations and you can help. Please see our website www.nwaa.net or call 0800 587 4570.
